Chloe deGravelle

Who am I?
I have sat myself firmly down,
in the middle of the universe,
neither right or left, torn between
heaven and hell, an obtrusion.
I have been adhered firmly,
and cannot be budged. I am invisible.

Who am I?
Seemingly, I am happy.
Seemingly, you barely know me.
Seemingly, I am a catastrophe,
waiting to happen. I sit,
mainly by the soft, sun-soaked fairytale window,
pondering. I sit, sinful.

Who am I?
I am myself, and that is what
is most important. A constant,
the Earth and the glittering stars
and the moon.

Who am I?
A sizeable question. Enigma.

  2. Happy New Year to you, my best wishes for 2012 !

  3. Love your pix section – what kinda camera are you using or favorite kind?

    • Thank you so much! I have several, but my two favorites and the ones I use the most are a Sony Nex5N and a Sony Alpha a580. I have an Olympus point and shoot, but I don’t use it very often.

  4. Hi Chloe! >>> I’ve come here to thank you for subscribing to my blog – I hope you’ll enjoy my pictures!

But, having got here, I’m intrigued by what you’re doing and, for a start, I think “The view from my eyes” a truly inventive and sensational title. And I’ve had a look at some of your pictures and now I’m going to have another look.

    Thanks again for subscribing! FATman

  5. What a great eye you have, and point of view.

  6. That makes me think about a Sonic Youth song, “secret girl”. Some of the lyrics are: “My mother used to say: “you’re the boy that can enjoy invisibility”. I’m the boy that can enjoy invisibility. Close your eyes, make a wish…” etc. For sure an hommage to the famous french singer Serge Gainsbourg for his song “I’m the boy” ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsfbKeWwjv8 ). Nice poem, would worth to be sung…

  7. Beutiful blog and photos, Chloe. You’ve really got eye and good taste

  8. Your eyes tell a story words simply can’t touch.

  9. This site is immaculate.

  10. Yes, enigma is right, as is anyone who like you is elevated enough to ponder existence.

  11. It seems to be a scarce quality in these times we live in. So many driven by greed, thoughtless to the outside world.
