It’s warming up. The temperature is now approaching 70′s on some days. Still no snow, but no spring yet either. Just endless browns punctuated by the occasional brilliant sunset. This time of year always seems to take my energy, just the dullness of it all. The storms have started, the big, massive rain storms that wash away the road dirt and make sleeping late all the more inviting.
It is this time of year that I enjoy walking and exercising outside the most. This past weekend saw me on one of my favorite trails with one of most favorite playlists. A mainstream sound track from the 90s, nothing too genre specific, just good music to enjoy while walking. It seemed even more appropriate given my wardrobe of a hoodie and stocking cap. Funny how these songs bring back thoughts and feelings so vivid that it was if I was experiencing them for the first time. Music has such an amazing impact on me.

Hey sister, you look younger now!
Aren’t you sweet? Thanks!
My comment is awaiting moderation because I’ve changed my nickname, let me in please
I like the new nickname
How is everything in your world?
GREAT songs!!! My favorite is the Meat Puppets!
Thanks!
Last summer, I saw Monster Magnet in the biggest european metal festival that takes place at 80 km from home. HellFest = 80 000 young satan addicts gathered in a small village. Now I can say that behind “Space Lord” you have to shout “Mother Fucker”.
Please see the 2012 program : http://www.hellfest.fr/
Catholic people around there complain about the bad influence of metal over youngsters…
Looks like fun! You know, I am going to age myself here, but I remember seeing Ozzy & Motley Crue in concert with Quiet Riot when I was young. The Crue has just released Shout at the Devil and the church people were all out in front of the concert hall handing out pamphlets and trying to explain how going in would risk our mortal souls. Nice to know they are all still at it
!!!
This link does not work… Did I try to guide your mind to a wrong track ?
It works, you just have to watch it on youtube. !!! is a good thing, it means I really like it!
I’ve been in hibernation mode, as it’s been so freakishly cold here. I woke up to snow this morning. It should be in the fifties here by this point in the season, but we’re still freezing, and there’s no sign of spring in the extended forecast.
I used to LOVE some of those songs. I haven’t played them in ages, but now I’m tempted to go digging through old CDs.
I have been hibernating, but only to shake whatever cold seems to have ahold of me. It’s still warm here, no snow other than a tiny shower that was gone in a day. It’s awful. Everyone keeps getting colds or flu, it’s a really weird winter. It’s funny, these songs. I don’t listen to them often, but when I do, I wonder why I haven’t. Banana!
It’s getting colder here, like a winter rewind. I find this unacceptable, and am wondering where I may file a complaint. Banana!
I think that I know classical music better than pop/rock
Classical is good, too! Just not chamber music. I never could handle chamber music
SCHWING!!…oops I mean SPRING!! hehe
Hey you! Thanks…how’s life been treating you? Did you break the vette out of cold storage yet?
Life is warming up..at last lol
Spring is really starting to break through here now
Nope, the vette is still parked, im waiting for the city to sweep the roads before I take it out…soon I hope.
We didn’t have a winter at all here. None
I bet you’re chomping at the bit to run it down the highway!
Yup, running down a dream
You should take it up to Jasper and get some pics like you did the truck.
He he he. xoxoxo

Vous me manquerez trop!
Non ! Je partais Chloé mais je reviendrai… Bises – yo
